There will be a public hearing on Monday May 1, 2023 at 6PM to review the 2023-2024 fiscal budget at the Howland Town Office located at 10 Bridge Road.
Howland Heat Pump Program: Heat Pump Rebates for Low and Moderate Income Mainers. The Town of Howland has received funding ($34,500) from the Penobscot County Commissioners to expand the Maine Efficiency low to moderate income families heat pump rebates. If you live within the Town of Howland and meet the criteria to qulaify for the $2,000 rebate through the low to moderate income rebate program the Town of Howland will also contribute up to $2,000 towards the cost of a heat pump. These rebates will be issued on a first come first served bases and limited funding is available. Click here to find out if you’re eligible.
