Employment opportunity: The Town of Howland is seeking to fill a part-time postion at the transfer station. This position is up to 20 hours per week and the schedule will be Tuesday 8-3 Thursday evening 3-7 and Saturday 8-4. Howland is a community on Rt. I-95 about 30 minutes north of Bangor. Known for being at the confluence of the Piscataquis and Penobscot Rivers, it is a hub of recreation activities in all seasons.
